There's more to life than cracking briefs and pushing pixels. I have many interests outside of advertising and design. I've recently started playing pickleball, I'm a musician, and dad to two humans. But these are my current passions right now...
MUSIC
In 2025 I wrote, recorded, engineered and produced a collection of songs under the band title Laser Warehouse. Available on Apple Music, Spotify, and other streaming services.
I started playing music at age 9 on the accordion, and by 19 I was playing in a funk-rock band called Double Freak — opening for acts like Jane's Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jonathan Richman, Fishbone, and DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince. No Doubt even opened for us a few times.
I've played in various indie-rock bands over the years, and music remains a passion of mine.
Food
I'm a little obsessed with cooking, at one point I thought I was going to make a career out of doing cooking videos. But I just made this one, so if you're interested in learing how to make a really good chicken, check it out!
Sailing
Nautical enthusiast, navigator, and tiki-drink maker. I love being out on the water. I began sailing in Long Island Sound in 1998 and have steadily improved my skills over the years, skippering yachts to Catalina, racing occasionally, getting hammered by 30 knot winds in Santa Monica Bay. If you need crew, I'm your guy.
Pottery
When people ask if I do 3D design I enthusiastically say, "yes!" I've been wheel-throwing lumps of clay into vases, mugs, bowls, and even bird-houses for over a year now. Inspired by the modernists, my approach is to create usable, decorative art. See more on Instagram.
